The Cottages In Issaquah Highlands

Posted by Larry Cragun No Comments »

One of the first three developments in the Highlands was the Cottages. Our first Issaquah Highlands home was one of those in these photos. With a few exceptions there are four floor plans (all very nice).

The homes cluster into a courtyard with two in front and two in back. The back homes garner a higher price as they have back yards, the front homes back is the courtyard. Most of the back homes look out onto a Pond. The ponds have been home to various wildlife, some rare species.

Each home accesses it garage from the courtyards. They provide a nice quiet living style where you get to know your neighbors. The neighbor in front of us became best friends, even though they moved out of state. I felt like we had such privacy living there, even though we had neighbors close by.

The pond on the South of Katsura and the walking trails across the street to the North. This trail circles about half of the units.

Find the intersection of 14th Court and Katsura Street and you find the Cottages.

One of the above homes was ours, we moved up in size, then moved again - all within Issaquah Highlands. Do you think we like it here?

Currently their are 2 homes listed for sale in the Cottages. The price range is from $555,000 to $570,000 - the square feet approximately 2200 - both with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. One of these was the model home.

I believe this was Northward Constructions final residential development.
