Yep, at least once a year Issaquah Highlands allows Reindeer, Horses, Buggy’s, and pooper scoopers. Merry Christmas.

The Poo Poo Point Paragliders have their own landing place, nice and safe off of Issaquah Hobart Road.
Of course on a clear day you can see them in the sky from Issaquah Highlands.

Now I wasn’t bold enough to ask why, but the park at the beginning of Harrison Street turned out to be an alternative landing site for three of those birds. Was it a gust of wind, or a break of routine? Do you know?

Perhaps you have noticed the increase in activity east of Highlands Drive. Our Issaquah mall has been approved and things are heating up. Weather you are for it or against it, it is coming. If you live in Issaquah Highlands you have been aware of this and are probably looking forward to it. It is part of the reason a lot of us moved here, the convenience of and skillful integration of businesses, shopping, parks and homes of all types and prices.
