Today Kathleen and I would like to announce two important alliances regarding Issaquah Highlands, this blog, and our real estate practice.
If you have been one of the many friends, neighbors, and followers of our two Issaquah blogs you may know how much we love our community and town. We have been writing about them for nearly three years now. It has been good for our real estate and mortgage business. It has also been a lot of fun.
The internet and technology has changed real estate marketing in many ways. We are proud that we, in many ways we have been pioneers. We continue to look for the latest and greatest. Our “undressed blog network has proven to be a successful model which we are providing other real estate agents in different markets and interests. There are over 50 undressed blogs now. The expansion of this network makes for a more interesting and powerful brand for us all. We will be focusing more on that expansion and with our new business relationships.
It is because of these types of changes we announce the following: Our affiliation with Connect Realty.com and our alliance with Plateau Real Estate, now becoming Plateau Real Estate powered by ConnectRealty.com.
Connect Realty was founded about a year ago and is well on its way to national prominence. Founded by successful computer pioneers (Compaq Computer co-founder) and serious real estate professionals Connect is a combination of Virtual real estate brokerage with local brick and mortar offices. While our competitors are striving to survive and closing offices Connect is profitable and expanding. Key to our move to Connect is the technology package we inherit. We know the importance of technology and its place in real estate marketing. Connect gives us the “Unfair Advantage” for sellers, buyers, and agents.
Another local pioneer is Scott Gibbons. You all want 4% not 6% commissions don’t you. Scott bravely battled us all in establishing that you can get full service for 4% from his team. In the over 51/2 years of serving Issaquah Highlands, Scott has earned everyone’s respect, especially mine. His role is like these blogs, consumer oriented. Scotts team, is joining us in being powered by ConnectRealty.com. It’s the “Scott never stops working for you” approach joining forces with “the internet never stops working for you”.
Scott will become the main writer on this blog. You possibly have gleaned much from his writing in the local Connections publication. He is a good writer and has a terrific library of photography of Issaquah Highlands to share with you.
From day 1 in our new alliances we bring to Plateau Real Estate, and our own business, new competitive advantages. For example the credibility of being a member of the National Association of Realtors. This new ConnectRealty.com alliance brings expensive and unmatchable listing power. The premium listing package we have through Realtor.com is an important example. Let Scott and his Plateau Realty team show you just how big that is. There is more.
Again I might say it is with excitement we announce these changes. Scott has a lot of first hand knowledge about Issaquah Highlands and real estate to share on this blog. You will love getting a chance to view his awesome portfolio of photographs. I must admit that there is some emotion within us, you might say we feel sorta like the parents that saw their first child leave home. But you know, those children have sure made us proud – so will Scott.
