Dreaming of a White……………………………………?
Thursday’s storm was horrible, but today was a really magnificently gorgeous day, I must admit. If it wasn’t so hard to get around and we had white snow and sunshine and blue sky all the time I could get used to a White Christmas. But since I am snowbound, and with worse storm warnings on the way, I am dreaming about WHITE sandy beaches, warm sun, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
I have been reminiscing about our recent Caribbean Cruise. I’m sure I could get used to 85 degree weather year round without any trouble.
I posted pics and info about the ports of call (Aruba, Curacao, St Maarten, St Thomas) from the Adventure of the Seas on the IssaquahUndressed.com blog………………..but not about the Ship, so here goes:

The Royal Caribbean - Adventure of the Seas at Port in Puerta Rico

The ship’s Exercise Spa Watermelon Carvings in the Windjammer Cafe
The WIndjammer was a casual buffet style dining while the Vivaldi Dining Room was elegant and gourmet, with many choices for appetizers, entre’s and desserts. Can’t decide between the Lobster or the Steak, have both, no problem, no extra fee! No wonder people gain weight. They also have a midnight buffet just in case you don’t get stuffed enough at breafast, lunch or dinner. I didn’t partake, it was past my bedtime. AND there is the Promenade Cafe where you can eat pizza, pastries, etc. any hour of the day or night.

Andy, of our wait staff and the Vivaldi Dining Room
They do charge extra for soda pop, cocktails and there are other restaurants on board that do cost, from Johnny Rockets to the Portofino. We only tried Johnny Rockets, after hearing about their milkshakes. Why pay extra when you get really good food anyway!?

Glitz and Glamour inside the Ship

There are many vista points inside and on the decks

One of four elevators - Aft and Forward

Open Decks with Pools, Hot Tubs, Music, Dancing, Tanning, Track

Solarium Pools and Hot Tubs

Basket Ball at 85 degrees

Climbing Rock

Miniture Golf

Art Shows and Auctions

Theater, something different every night

Incredible Ice Shows and also times anyone can skate

The Casino floor! Other shots didn't turn out

All ships passengers come out and cheer each other as they leave port.

Another day at sea almost over

Pulling away from the dock
There is much more going on, on the ship than I can possibly show. There are popular activities for kids, a library, a spa for massages, classes, it goes on and on. Needless to say there is no excuse for being bored!
All of my posts about our ports of call, Aruba, Curacao, St Maarten and St Thomas have many pictures posted on IssaquahUndressed.com. Below is one of my favorites. To see the others click here.
