Keeping Up With Technology - Staying Ahead Of The Masses
For the last few years we have been active in attending the National Association of Realtors Conventions and/or Inman Connect Real Estate Technology Conferences. This keeps us up with the latest trends and ways to help our clients. From this conference we came up with some terrific information in a number of ways. Some you will see attached to our blogs. As an example: the fall in the value of the dollar and the sense that prices are good in the US has brought a flurry of European and Canadian buyers to the United States. While New York and Florida are their favorite markets the activity is on both coasts. A complete marketing plan for your listing should reach out to these buyers, many of whom use other ways of searching than the MLS.
We arrived a couple of days early to take in the city. Here was a fun event that turned funny. The Today show pictured below caught our attention as they were d0ing a man on the street interview.
The young man turning to the reporter (The woman with her back to our camera) is either a comedian or should have kept on walking. She asked him about Barack Obama, he didn’t know the guy.
Our conference was less humorous but more educational.
